As it happens, I had just started experimenting with polymer clay when I signed up for Into the Forest. As soon as I received my beady package from Lisa I knew that one of my new polymer pieces would be PERFECT for the hop. (I'm excited to be sharing these new pieces with you today!)
I received a beautiful mix of beads.
The larger stone is perfect for a bracelet design.
Up next on the jewelry bench is another bracelet.
Before we get to my final, and what I consider the prized, piece of my Into the Forest challenge I thought I'd share this photo with you just for fun. I knew I would need over 100 balled headpins for this challenge so I made a whole bunch of them. Here's what happens when you tumble a couple hundred, small gauge wire headpins together. No worries though, it looks worse than it is. They were easy to encourage apart.
The necklace incorporates my NEW ..... drum roll please .. polymer clay focal!!! I just love this owl!!!
Many thanks to Lisa Lodge of Pine Ridge Treasures (connect with her on FB) for organizing a fun and inspiring blog hop!
Hop on over to the other designers' blogs to see all the wonderful pieces created by the artists willing to venture Into the Forest.
