This weeks prompt from Sally at the Studio Sublime is monochromatic.
This was a tough one for me. I really don't know how to change photos to monochromatic. The fun part was playing with my photo editing software to figure it out. I so wanted to make them black and white but that wouldn't be right, would it? I'm not sure I did it right but it is what is. The first one is a photo of my favorite beach on the Gulf of Mexico. I'm sharing the original photos first, so you can see the difference.
I have a fascination with trees. Last year I took many photos of trees, a study of trees you might say. I have grown to love when the trees loose their leaves for the winter and reveal all their beauty. This photo is one of the interesting branches which revealed itself.
Thanks for joining me. Head on over to Sally's website to find all the other participants and their fascinating photos.
