I did create some new earrings this week, which I am in love with. You can hop on over to my shop if you just love them too, Ema K designs/shop. I hope you don't mind me sharing them with you today.
I thought a lot about one project in particular. I am going to get started on it soon...I promise. Last year I found two barrel staves that I thought would be wonderful to create 'something' out of. Recently my husband was recycling two heavy duty cardboard covers. Personally I have never seen anything like these before. These covers came on a round container which is equally heavy duty. I don't what came in these heavy duty round containers. Picture a laundry hamper sized container. I want to attach one cover to one of the barrel staves and create art with it. Art in it or a painting on it. I haven't planned it all out yet but it will probably involve a tree design.
Oh and I almost forgot to mention, today I am at an art class all day. I am taking a painting class with my two sisters and my Mom! Some of you may or may not know but recently my two sisters and my Mom recently battled with breast cancer. They were all three, diagnosed within 5 months of each other. Quite the ordeal for the entire family. They are doing well. As part of therapy the hospital is offering an art program for cancer patients, survivors and caregivers which will meet once a month for the next six months. Today is our first class. So I am creating art today! :) I left a spot below so I can add a picture of my painting, so I hope you can check back to see what I created. I added my painting. I don't love it. I am thinking of redoing the entire piece. I had a vision and it didn't translate to the canvas. I'm a bit bummed about that. I just don't like this.

As always, thanks for visiting with me today. I'll talk to you all later, I'm off to paint.
